最高貴的義舉

很久以前，有一位富有的商人。他覺得自己年老體衰，時日無多，想把他的遺產留給三個兒子中的一個。
有一天，他把三個兒子叫來，對他們說：「你們去周遊世界，一年之後回來，告訴我你們在旅途中的最引以為傲的義舉。我會把所有的遺產留給你們中行最高貴的義舉之人。」
一年之後，三個兒子回來了。大兒子說：「我遇見一個陌生人，他給了我一袋金幣讓我為之保管。不久之後他去世了，我把所有的金幣都還給了他的家人。」
商人說：「誠信是你的性格，這並不是最高貴的義舉。」
二兒子說：「我來到一個貧窮的村莊，看到一個男孩掉進河裏。我立刻跳下去救了他。」
商人誇獎了他：「救人是你的天性，這也不是最高貴的義舉。」
三兒子說：「我有一個敵人，他幾次三番想要殺我，每次我都險些命喪黃泉。一晚，我見他睡在懸崖邊的樹枝上。我只要輕輕推一下他就跌入無底深淵，粉身碎骨。但是，我卻叫醒他讓他趕緊回家。我想這也許不是最高貴的義舉······」
商人聽完後說：「你能夠戰勝內心的怨憤，對敵人伸出援手。這是最高貴和神聖的義舉，而你做到了。我會把我所有的遺產都留給你。」
人性本善。善待他人是我們為人應盡的責任，不該被認為是傑出的貢獻。我們並不鼓勵在教育中將子女相互比較。但是，用慈悲和善念對待敵人，以德報怨，誠為世間高貴的義舉之一。

This was amazing story.
I enjoyed this story. I believe the moral of the story is be kind to those that are not kind to you. forgiveness is so important. And we overcome evil by doing good. Love never fails.
