This collection is inspired by the well-known work “Lan Ting Xu” by celebrated calligrapher Wang Xizhi of the East Jin Dynasty, in which Shen Yun captures the work’s noble and scholarly air. Grasping their scholar fans, these poets gather at Lan Ting, or The Orchid Pavilion, to write poems reflecting on life and Daoist principles.
