We are excited to announce that Shen Yun Collections is the Official Crown Sponsor of the inaugural New Tang Dynasty Global Chinese Beauty Pageant, which will award the title of Miss NTD to one extraordinary Chinese lady.

The Shen Yun Collections Phoenix Crown dedicated to Miss NTD will be placed on the head of the global pageant winner. The crown’s design was inspired by dance pieces from Shen Yun Performing Arts, including Phoenix Fairies, The Mystical Phoenix, and Phoenixes of the Sapphire Paradise. 

The five blue gemstones in the center of the crown symbolize the five traditional virtues highlighted by the pageant―Morality, Righteousness, Propriety, Benevolence, and Faithfulness. The fresh water pearls on the crown represents purity and curved lines throughout the crown design represent a phoenix’s feathers. The phoenix is a heavenly creature in traditional culture and is often depicted as the female counterpart to the male dragon. 

At Shen Yun Collections, we are thrilled to be sponsoring a beauty pageant aimed at bringing back women’s authenticity, goodness, and pure beauty.
